I saw her stare out at the sea
I looked on as she
Scattered flowers of Ren
Making the water look
More radiant in the setting sun.

Nana! I wanted to scream
I wanted to hug her
And kiss her And keep her
With me forever.

She turned around
And time stopped running.
We stared at each other
And as if waking from a nightmare
